Driven by the continuous recovery of the global economy and the acceleration of green transition, paper industry is ushering in new opportunities for technology iteration, low-carbon transformation and globalization collaboration. With the further progressing of the carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goal and the deepening of the international market competition pattern, paper industry urgently needs to take innovation as the engine to promote the industrial chain toward high-end, intelligent and green. In response to the goal of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality and strengthening global industrial collaboration, the 2025 Papermaking Science and Technology Week will be held at Hall H1 of the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center in August 12-15, 2025. With the topic of “Creating Green Intelligent Development Momentum, Shaping Future of Paper Industry Jointly”, 2025 Papermaking Science and Technology Week will integrate the three core parts of exhibition, Development Forum and Technical Conference, and strive to forge a high-end platform for technical exchange and business collaboration in the global paper industry.
1.2025 China International Paper Innovation and Development Forum (August 12, 2025)
China International Paper Innovation and Development Forum is a cutting-edge forum in paper industry, which jointly organized by China National Pulp and Paper Research Institute Co., Ltd. and China Technical Association of Paper Industry and China Paper Association, and created together with many paper industry organizations and leading domestic and foreign enterprises. Since its inception in 2016, the Development Forum has driven in-depth industry-university-research cooperation continuously by discussing cutting-edge issues such as intelligent manufacturing and green low-carbon, and has become one of the influential paper industry annual events. With the topic of “Building New Ecology Intelligently and Driving New Future Environmentally”, 2025 China International Paper Innovation and Development Forum will focus on the goal of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality strategy, intelligent manufacturing, green development, circular economy, industrial transition, etc., to jointly holding discussions about the high-quality development path of paper industry and helping build a new green papermaking ecology.
2.2025 China International Paper Technology Exhibition (August 13-15, 2025)
Since its first establishment in 1987, CIPTE has been successfully held for 31 sessions, aiming to open up the whole industrial chain from raw materials to products, from fittings to equipment. In the course of 37 years of development, CIPTE has become a well-known international exhibition in the industry, and has been warmly welcomed and highly regarded by enterprises and professional visitors from upstream and downstream industries.

3.International Paper Technical Conference (August 14, 2025)
The International Paper Technical Conference is an opportunity and a stage for experts, scientists and workers in global paper industry to learn the scientific research achievements and development trends of domestic and international papermaking and related biomass industry, to exchange in advanced fields and upgrade their own technical skills. Since its inception in 1989, more than 20 sessions of the Technical Conference have been successfully held. The organizers of the conference have collaborated with international organizations such as the Technical Association of the Pulp and Paper Industry (TAPPI), ABTCP, Finnish Forest Products Engineers’s Association (PI), Adforum Sweden, Papiertechnische Stiftung (PTS), Forest Products Association of Canada (FPI Inovations), and the Japan TARRI.
