Abstract:Papermaking waste water has the characteristics of high chromaticity, high turbidity, high COD, and containing various refractory organic pollutants. This paper introduced the application of ultrafiltration-reverse osmosis dual membrane system in the treatment of Jingxing mill’s papermaking waste water. Reverse osmosis water desalination rate was stable at around 97%. SDI and turbidity value closed to zero. The deep treated waster water for reuse using dual membrane technology reached the recycling water quality standard for industrial uses of urban effluent, and the economic benefit was obvious. Waste water treatment cost could save about 1.04 million yuan per in the mill year.
