Abstract:A polyacrylonitrile (PAN) filter paperboard was prepared by blending regenerated Lyocell fibers with PAN fibers, adding the binder polyvinyl alcohol (PVA), and filtering aid SiO2, with wet-forming method. The PAN filtration paperboard was enhanced through the synergistic effect of fine fiber interweaving and the binder. The tensile index, porosity, pore size, and water flux of the filter paperboard at different levels of fiber regeneration were compared and analyzed. The results showed that when the pulp grinding for 40 000, the filter paperboard exhibited optimal overall performance. At this point, the tensile index was the highest at 5.97 N·m/g, with porosity of 88% and water flux of 599 L·m²/min. The reference was provided for the development of PAN filter paperboard for water filtration. |
