Abstract:In this study, acacia broadleaf wood pulp was used as the raw material. The cationic modified cellulose nanofibril (CCNF) was prepared by cationic modified pretreatment of sodium periodate oxidized dialdehyde cellulose (DAC) with choline chloride-glycerol-aminoguanidine hydrochloride ternary deep eutectic solvent (DES) system, combined with ultra-micro-comminution and high-pressure homogenization. The results showed that the crystallinity of CCNF prepared after DES cationization modification pretreatment was increased with the maximum crystallinity of 63.36% when pretreated for 60 min compared with that of CNF prepared without any modification treatment. The introduction of cationic groups significantly increased the Zeta potential from -18.0 mV to 53.4 mV, but DES pretreatment would destroy the internal structure of the fiber, thus reducing the stability of the suspension. |
