| Abstract:In this study, ring-topologically cellulose nanocrystal (RT-CNC) was obtained by concentrated sulfuric acid method and high-intensity ultrasonic treatment, and cellulose nanofibril (CNF)/RT-CNC films were prepared by vacuum filtration. The results showed that the ring-wall width and the length of RT-RNC were 3.5 nm and 10-50 nm, respectively, and its had significant hollow feature. The chemical structure of RT-CNC did not change and maintained the crystalline structure of cellulose I during the film formation process. The air permeability of CNF/RT-CNC film was 6.70 µm/(Pa·s), which was increased by 168% compared with that of CNF film (2.50 µm/(Pa·s)). In addition, the CNF/RT-CNC film had the best thermal degradation performance. |
