Abstract:Taking the phase change material (hexadecanol) as core with aramid nanofibers/carbon nanotube as shell, the hexadecanol-loaded microcapsules were encapsulated by Pickering emulsion template method. The microcapsules were further dehydrated and dried to obtain hexadecanol/aramid nanofibers/carbon nanotubes phase change energy storage paper. The heat storage capacity, structure and stability of phase change energy storage paper were also investigated. It was demonstrated that phase change energy storage paper had excellent mechanical properties, thermal resistance, shape stability and high phase change enthalpy. Under the optimized conditions, the phase change energy storage paper with hexadecanol core content of 66.82% and heat absorption enthalpy of 128.00 J/g was obtained. Noteworthily, carbon nanotube significantly improved the thermal conductivity of phase change energy storage paper, and endowed it with photothermal and electrothermal effects.
