Abstract:Waste pollution characteristics analysis could provide reliable basis for the subsequent treatment. In order to identify the pollution composition of poplar NaOH atmospheric impregnation liquor, determine its polluting property and biodegradability, Infrared Spectroscopy, Ultraviolet Spectroscopy and GC-MS were used to qualitatively and quantitatively analyze the contaminants in the waste liquor. The results showed that the organic structures in the waste liquor included benzene, saturated hydrocarbon, hydroxyl, ether group, amine, —OCOR auxochrome group, phenolic hydroxyl group and carbonyl group. The types of organic compounds that may be contained include alkane, phenol or alcohol, aromatic compounds, carbohydrate, ethers, phenolic substances, carboxylic acids, etc.The relative higher contents of organic compounds were such as esters, alkanes, aromatic compounds, aldehydes and organic acids. The concentration of lignin and carbohydrate were 2539 mg/L and 4728 mg/L. The concentrations of suspended matter, soluble solids and soluble organic solids in the waste liquor were 4636, 4878 and 860 mg/L, respectively. The CODCr and BOD5 were 29216 and 19400 mg/L. C∶N∶P =100.15∶4.62∶1. It was concluded that the waste liquor had complex contamination composition, high concentration of organic pollutants and good biodegradability. N and P elements was probably supplemented when the waste liquor was treated with anaerobic process. The pollutant content of sulphate, nitrate, nitrite and ammonia nitrogen in the waste liquor didn't reach the inhibitory concentration. |
