Abstract:Microwave-assisted pyrolysis of lignin exists some problems of low conversion efficiency and severe secondary reaction. In this study, used cigarette filter (UCF) particles were used to assist the fast pyrolysis of lignin and control the distribution of pyrolysis products. Results showed that with the increase of UCF adding proportion in lignin, the yield of bio oil increased gradually, and the yield of biochar decreased. Compared with the theoretical yield, the addition of UCF was conducive to the generation of bio oil and biochar. The adding of UCF reduced the yield of guaiacols from lignin pyrolysis by demethylation or dehydroxylation reaction. The highest yields of P-hydroxyphenols (127.53 mg/g) and aromatic hydrocarbon (22.28 mg/g) were obtained with 60% mass ratio of UCF to lignin. The analysis of solid products showed that the specific surface area of biochar increased gradually with the increasing of the proportion of UCF in lignin. UCF could form the structure of carbon fiber and attached and grew on the surface of lignin carbon. In this study, the remarkable synergistic effect between UCF and lignin was observed in the process of microwave-assisted pyrolysis which had great significance for the conversion efficiency of lignin and the high-value utilization of waste resources. |
