Abstract:This article introduced the source, classification and structural properties of lignin and the main methods of preparing the lignin-based hydrogel. The methods preparing the adsorplive lignin-based hydrogel and the responsive lignin-based hydrogel were described in detail. The potential applications of lignin-based hydrogels were proposed, as well.
