| Abstract:A water-emulsified polyimide resin was prepared by using phase-inversion method and chemical A as emulsifier in this experiment. The influence of stirring speed, emulsifier dosage, emulsifying temperature, and emulsifying time on emulsion particle size was studied. The results showed that the optimum conditions were water-emulsifier dosage was 23%, emulsifying temperature was 40℃ and emulsifying time was 70 min.Under these conditions, particle size of polyimide emulsion was among 5~7 μm. The application result showed that the tensile index, burst index and tear index of aramid paper increased significantly with impregnation of the emulsion. |
