Abstract:Serious corrosion occurred in Ⅲ stage superheater of a recovery boiler，the reason was investigated through fuel component test, metal material analysis, composition analysis of corrosion matters and metallographic examination. The results showed that the design limitation and fuel component were the main reasons that led to the serious corrosion.
