Abstract:The liquid level of multi-disk filter tank is an important influence parameter in the process of white water recovery of multi-disk filter, but the liquid level control exists the problems of nonlinear and time delay, the liquid level detection value fluctuates caused by rotary action of the filter discs, conventional PID control is difficult to achieve ideal control accuracy. On the basis of analyzing the particle swarm optimization algorithm, in this paper, a parameter self-tuning based on fuzzy logic particle swarm optimization algorithm was proposed. It was used in the PID controller parameters optimization of liquid level control system, in order to achieve the precise control of liquid level. MATLAB/Simulink simulation result showed that compared with the conventional PID control and PID control based on the standard particle swarm algorithm, this algorithm had the advantages of fast response, less overshoot, strong robustness, which could play a good part in control. This algorithm practical application received good control effect, which improved the precision of liquid level control.
