Abstract:In this paper, bleached softwood pulp was dissolved in the ionic liquid solution, and then the solution was coated on a polyester fiber (PET) ultra-thin non-woven fabric. Finally, the cellulose-PET non-woven fabric membrane was prepared by washing with distilled water. By characterizing the morphology, physical properties and filtration performance of the composite membrane, it was shown that the cellulose was evenly distributed on the PET non-woven fabric and had good bonding. The average pore size of the composite membrane was 0.3 μm, the water flux was (12200±100) L/(m2·h·MPa), and the separation efficiency of Escherichia coli (BSA) was 99.1%. The cellulose composite membrane prepared by this method had a prospect in the field of filtration and separation.
