Abstract:Recycled pulp was pretreated with hemicellulase then bleached hydrogen peroxide. The paper physical properties and bleaching effluent were investigated to study the effect of enzymatic pretreatment on hydrogen peroxide bleaching activity. In order to explore the mechanism of enzymatic pretreatment, pulp samples before or after enzymatic treatment were characterized by using fiber quality analysis, X ray diffraction and scanning electron microscope analysis, respectively. The experimental results showed that the bleachability of recycled pulp with H2O2 was markedly promoted and COD content of bleaching effluent decreased by enzymatic. With xylanase addition amount of 14~16 IU/g, the paper brightness, bursting index, tensile index and elongation were respectively increased by 21.7%, 17.8%, 36.4%, 20.3% compared with the control sample. |
