Abstract:The water absorbing material was prepared by using bagasse bleached pulp fiber as a raw material to carry out the grafting polymerization with acrylic acid and acrylamide under the synergetic initiation of plasma and potassium sulfate. And the water-adsorbing material was charactered by Fourier transform infrared spectrometer and X ray diffraction, the experimental results showed that grafting polymerization between cellulose and acrylic acid and acrylamide was realized.
