Abstract:In this study, different enzymes were used to pre-treat P-RC APMP pulp before refining in order to find out the enzymes which can be used for enzymatic beating of P-RC APMP. The enzymes treatment conditions (including the treatment temperature, time, pH, pulp concentration and refining conditions) were optimized and the feasibility of enzymatic beating of high yield pulp was evaluated. Results showed that the enzyme cellulase with the symbol of Novozyme 476 is suitable for the enzymatic beating of P-RC APMP, and the optimal conditions are: 55℃, pH value 6.5, enzyme treatment time 1.5 h, pulp consistency 3%,PFI mill refining time 90 s. At this condition, the beating degree increases by 9°SR when the refining conditions are the same as the control sample, and energy consumption can be saved by about 22.2% compared with the same beating degree. There is no negative impact caused by enzyme treatment on the paper strength.
