| Abstract:Although chlorine dioxide preparation is commonly based on chlorate and using methanol process in China, hydrogen dioxide process now starts to be recommended, the advantages and disadvantages of applying those two reducing agents and their influence on the preparation operation are discussed. Application practice proved hydrogen dioxide process is promising in the future. Besides, the latest combined reducing agents developed in abroad are discussed, its introduction and application in China will be of great significance for chlorine dioxide bleaching. |
