| Abstract:This paper systematically reviewed the research progress of carbon paper preparation methods and its application in proton exchange membrane fuel cells, lithium batteries, zinc batteries and supercapacitors. It emphatically elaborated the synergistic regulation strategies of electrical conductivity, mechanical properties and pore structure when carbon paper was used as the gas diffusion layer in proton exchange membrane fuel cells, and the functional design as catalyst substrates and interface stabilization layers in lithium and zinc batteries, as well as the construction methods of hierarchical pore structures and composite conductive networks in flexible energy storage devices. Meanwhile, the future research directions were prospected. Research should focus on the precise regulation of multiscale pore structures, the development of green and low-cost preparation technologies and the design of multifunctional integration, so as to promote the industrial application of carbon paper in electrode systems of new energy storage devices. |
