| Abstract:This paper proposed and thoroughly investigated a novel integrated transformer design that combined a plug-in arrester and a cable plug-in terminal. By optimizing the high-voltage bushing structure and lead-out wire orientation of the transformer， the design achieved a compact and efficient connection among the transformer， arrester， and high-voltage cable. The application on practice demonstrated that this design significantly reduced site footprint， civil engineering costs， and construction duration. This integrated transformer offered notable advantages in structural composition， operating principles， and key technical features， providing an efficient and reliable technical solution for compact substation construction and the optimization of high-voltage cable routing methods. |
