Abstract:Currently, membrane electrode materials of proton exchange membrane fuel cell faced challenges such as imbalanced water and gas regulation, high platinum catalyst costs, and poor durability. This paper systematically reviewed research progress on key materials for carbon paper-based membrane electrodes in proton exchange membrane fuel cells, focusing on material modification techniques for the carbon paper layer, microporous layer, catalyst layer, and proton exchange membrane. With the aim of providing a reference for the commercialization of carbon paper-based hydrogen fuel cell technology.
