Abstract:The pulp and paper industry, as a core basic raw material industry supporting the national economy, is accelerating its transformation towards high-end, green, and intelligent development. Guangxi, as a key industrial cluster hub, faces a critical bottleneck in the shortage of top-tier innovative talents, which restricts industrial upgrading. This study analyzed the educational logic and innovative philosophy for cultivating top-tier innovative talents in the light industry field. Guided by the values of “serving the country through scientific innovation and deepening industrial engagement”, it constructed a training model featuring “academician leadership, industry-university-research integration, and undergraduate-master-doctoral continuum”. Through initiatives such as the dual integration of science-education and industry-education, university-enterprise dual-mentor system, and competition-teaching integration, the precise alignment between talent cultivation and industrial demands was achieved. This study provided ideological reference for local universities to connect with regional characteristic industries and addressed the pain points in cultivating top-tier innovative talents.
