Abstract:Addressing the persistent issues of the disconnect between theoretical instruction and practical application, and the lack of engineering practical skills among students in Light Chemical Engineering, the Light Chemical Engineering major at Nanjing Forestry University, guided by the “New Engineering Education” concept, adheres to the fundamental task of fostering virtue and nurturing talents. With the goal of cultivating industry demand-oriented engineering professionals, the program had taken comprehensive measures to strengthen and refine the industry-education integration system and mechanisms. It had innovated the university-enterprise collaborative education model, built industry-education integration platforms, and enhanced the quality of talent cultivation. By optimizing the linkage mechanism between program development and industrial growth, a complete collaborative education system and talent training model involving “government, industry, university, research, and application” had been established, aiming to build a leading and exemplary Light Chemical Engineering brand program renowned for its deep industry-education integration.
