| Abstract:Extracted pigment from blueberries were used to prepare the dyestuff for blue cigarette paper in this study. The components and content of the pigment from the dyestuff were determined, the chromaticity of the blue cigarette paper was analyzed using color difference analysis, the thermal decomposition products of the blue cigarette paper were analyzed using pyrolysis analysis, and sensory evaluations and chemical components in smoke were conducted on blue cigarette. The results indicated that the main component of the pigment from the dyestuff was anthocyanin with the anthocyanin glycosides content of 1.068 g/100 g. The color of blue cigarette paper were relatively stable over time, with only a few samples having visible color differences to the naked eye ( ΔE>1.5). The pyrolytic product had the higher amounts of acids and alcohol-related aromatic compounds.Meantwhile, blue cigarette was better in comfort and aroma compared to the blank cigarette, and the release amounts of nicotine, tar, and CO in the smoke had no significant difference. |
