| Abstract:To address the winding quality issues caused by excessive radial stress during the winding process, this study conducted the research on taper tension control for the winding process of roll-to-roll precision coating machines. A taper tension control method was proposed, and its parameter characteristics, and radial stress control effects were analyzed. Based on the genetic algorithm (GA), an improved parameter self-tuning linear active disturbance rejection controller (LADRC) was designed, and a taper tension control strategy was formulated. A simulation model was established in MATLAB 2019b/Simulink to verify the winding tension control effect of the improved parameter self-tuning LADRC. The results showed that the GA-based improved controller could achieve high-precision control of taper tension, with a winding tension error of less than 0.6% and a radial stress error of less than 0.4%. |
