| Abstract:This paper systematically reviewed the recent progress of cellulose-based materials in volatile organic compounds (VOCs) adsorption. This review firstly analyzed the structural characteristics of natural cellulose and nanocellulose and their adsorption performance. Then it discussed the construction strategies, adsorption mechanisms, and performance of cellulose derivatives and cellulose-based composite materials. It also summarized the research status of porous structure design and surface functionalization regulation of cellulose-based materials. Finally, the future research directions were prospected, aiming at the current challenges faced by cellulose-based materials in terms of morphological diversity, large-scale preparation, and high-efficiency adsorption of complex VOCs. |
