| Abstract:This study proposed a method for preparing extremely small-sized phenolic resin nanospheres (SAFR) using sodium lignosulfonate as the raw material, enabling precise control over the particle size of phenolic resin nanomaterials within 320 nm. By increasing the addition amount of sodium lignosulfonate from 0 to 40%, the particle size of SAFR nanospheres decreased from 320 nm to within 100 nm, with a Zeta potential value as high as -49.1 mV, demonstrating excellent stability and antioxidant properties. The nano-reinforcing effect of these nanospheres was highly significant: Under optimal conditions, the tensile strength of PAA hydrogel incorporated with SAFR reached up to 450.0 kPa, which was 10.7 times higher than that of pure PAA hydrogel, when SAFR was added to PVA material at a addition amount of 0.02%, the tensile strength of the PVA composite film increased by 4.2 times (191.4 MPa), and the elongation at break increased by 3.9 times (301.2%). |
