Abstract:This study utilized tobacco leaf extracts to impregnate and produce unbleached cigarette papers. Comparative analyses were conducted on the thermal pyrolysis components, physical properties, and color difference of the unbleached papers under varying storage durations. Additionally, the sensory quality and smoke chemical composition of the prepared cigarette samples were evaluated. The results indicated that under high temperatures, the content of certain flavor-enhancing components in the unbleached papers significantly increased. Among effective aroma-contributing components, nicotine, furfural, oleic acid, and linoleic acid showed significant increases. Pigment degradation in unbleached cigarette paper proceeded relatively slowly, maintaining stable color difference with ΔE<1.5. The paper exhibited enhanced processing tolerance compared to conventional cigarette paper, exerted no significant effect on the release of chemical constituents in cigarette smoke, and demonstrated a certain enhancing effect on both aroma intensity and aroma quality.
