| Abstract:Cellulose-based porous aerogel composites were prepared from office waste paper and graphene oxide (GO), followed by amine functionalization of the surface with (3-aminopropyl) triethoxysilane (APTES) to enhance CO2 capture. In addition, adsorption kinetics, isosteric heat of adsorption, cycling stability, CO2/N2 selectivity, and water uptake were evaluated. The APTES-functionalized cellulose/GO composite aerogel exhibited CO2 uptaked of 1.2, 1.5, and 2.5 mmol/g at 25 ℃ under 0.001, 0.01, and 0.1 MPa, respectively, with a CO2/N2 selectivity of 87 at 0.01 MPa. The material showed robust cycling performance: only slight capacity fade under pressure-swing adsorption, while complete regeneration was achieved after temperature- and/or pressure-swing desorption. |
