| Abstract:This paper summarized the preparation method combining mechanical defibration with green pretreatment such as alkaline treatment, acid hydrolysis, TEMPO oxidation, and low eutectic solvent, and explored the dual effect of lignin on defibration efficiency and the performance of nanofibers. Furthermore, the applications of LCNF in bioplastics, food packaging, and flexible electronics were summarized. Special attention was given to the role of lignin, noting that its retention not only improved hydrophobicity, thermal stability, and UV resistance, but also streamlined production by eliminating full delignification and thus reducing chemicals, energy use, and processing steps. Finally, the current challenges and future directions for the preparation and applications of LCNF were provided. |
