Abstract:Lignin/SDBS composite nanoparticles (S-LNPs) with a particle size of (47.04±16.55) nm were obtained by complexing lignin nanoparticles (LNPs) derived from sulfate lignin and sodium dodecylbenzene sulfonate (SDBS) via the antisolvent method. The Pickering emulsions (S-PEs) loaded with metolachlor were prepared using S-LNPs as stabilizer. The effects of the dosage of SDBS, the oil-water ratio and the dosage of metolachlor on the morphology and size of the S-PEs droplet were investigated. The results showed that when the SDBS addition amount was 2.5% (mass fraction relative to the S-LNPs suspension), the oil-water ratio was 3∶7, and the amount of metolachlor was 1.0% (mass fraction relative to the oil phase), a relatively stable S-PEs with an average particle size of about 10.54 μm was obtained. The metolachlor contained in it had certain sustained-release and light degradation-resistance properties. The contact angle of S-PEs on the leaf surface was 56.35°, and the leaf surface residue quantity was 58.13 g/cm2. Compared with the traditional drug-carrying emulsion stabled by SDBS, S-PEs exhibited more superior herbicidal effect.
