| Abstract:A two-step preparation method was adopted to chemically modify cellulose filter paper. (3-mercaptopropyl)trimethoxysilane and sodium 4-vinylbenzenesulfonate were used as modifiers. The chemically modified cellulose filter paper (CMCFP) was successfully prepared through silanization and thiol-ene click reaction. The CMCFP was used to extract and recover six synthetic cathinone analytes in aqueous solution by taking advantage of its hydrophobic interaction, π-π interaction, and electrostatic interaction. After extraction, the used CMCFP was treated with different elution solvents, and the eluates were detected and analyzed using high-performance liquid chromatography coupled with triple quadrupole mass spectrometry. The results showed that at an environmental pH value of 6.0, the CMCFP achieved optimal recovery efficiency for the six synthetic cathinone analytes, with recovery rates ranging between 71.5% and 107.7%. The most effective elution solvent was found to be ammonia/methanol solution with fraction volumique of 3%. Furthermore, the CMCFP maintained high recovery performance even after five consecutive uses. |
