Abstract:In response to the shortcomings in the outdated teaching content and monotonous teaching modes of the Pulp and Paper Environmental Protection course, this study, based on the concept of the trinity integration of science, education, and industry, explored the path of teaching reform for the Pulp and Paper Environmental Protection course under the background of such integration. By integrating resources from scientific research, education, and industry, the course content had been reconstructed, innovative teaching modes like flipped classroom had been introduced, and the assessment system had been improved, thereby enhancing students’ practical comprehensive quality and cultivating high-quality interdisciplinary talents to meet the development needs of the modern paper industry. Practical results demonstrated that the teaching system of the Pulp and Paper Environmental Protection course under the Science-Education-Industry integration framework had been widely praised by students, significantly improving the quality of student cultivation. Furthermore, industry-academia collaboration had been deepened with increased satisfaction from corporate feedback, and the efficiency of scientific research had been enhanced, promoting synergistic innovation in industry-academia-research collaboration.
