| Abstract:Using the dissolution regeneration method, cellulose hydrogel was prepared. Under alkaline as a catalyst, the hydrolysis-condensation rate of tetraethyl orthosilicate (TEOS) was controlled to regulate the size of the prepared SiO2 particles, followed by the composite of cellulose and SiO2, which was then freeze-dried to obtain a SiO2/cellulose composite aerogel. After hydrophobic modification with alkyl siloxane, a superhydrophobic oleophilic SiO2/cellulose composite aerogel was prepared. The results indicated successful SiO2 incorporation into the cellulose aerogel, and the prepared SiO2/cellulose composite aerogel had a porous structure. At a pH value of 10, SiO2 sphere had a size range of 50~200 nm, and SiO2/cellulose composite aerogel had a static contact angle of 158.9° and a roll-off angle of 3.2°, of which oil absorption capacity was 12.8 times its own weight. |
