| Abstract:As an emerging functional material, lignocellulose modulation of liquid metals shows great potential in various applications. The abundant hydroxyl, carboxyl, and other polar groups in lignocellulose can form strong chemical bonds with liquid metal surfaces, significantly enhance interfacial wettability and adhesion, and optimize the ability of directional microstructural modulation to provide innovative solutions for flexible sensing, light-to-heat conversion, and other functionalized applications. This paper systematically reviewed the latest research progress of lignocellulosic material modulation of liquid metals for the preparation of functional materials, focusing on the analysis of the structural characteristics of liquid metals and the functionalization strategies of different lignocellulosic fractions, such as cellulose and lignin, for the modulation of liquid metals. The paper explored the potential of the composites as flexible sensing substrates in flexible electronics, as well as its appication in solar energy interface evaporation and other fields for energy conversion enabled by its photothermal response properties, and the future development direction was discussed. |
