| Abstract:In the context of the new engineering education, the carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals, and the urgent needs of high-quality transformation and upgrading of the chemical and light industry, with the principle of “integrating course ideological education, strengthening moral cultivation, and following student needs”, this paper introduced the measures and achievements in the teaching reform of Chemical Engineering Principles and the exploration of the training mode for new engineering talents. By adopting the progressive teaching method of “learning-research-innovation-application”, a diversified education platform that features “linkage between virtual and real, integration of online and offline, and complementarity between in-class and out-of-class” had been constructed. Emphasizing the concept of green and low-carbon and the utilization of sustainable biomass resources, a new idea of cultivating “multidimensional coordinated” engineering capabilities had been established. It was hoped that through more open teaching concepts, interactive teaching methods, and comprehensive evaluation systems, students’ innovative ability and overall quality could be comprehensively improved. |
