| Abstract:Correlation between the moisture content of the reconstituted tobacco sheet prepared by thick pulp method and environmental humidity and equilibrium time was studied, and the influence of mass fraction of inorganic fillers such as bentonite and talc powder on the moisture absorption performance and physical indicators of the reconstituted tobacco sheet were explored. The results showed that the higher initial moisture content of the reconstitued tobacco sheet, the higher the moisture content of the balance 2 h under the subsequent higher humidity. The moisture content of the reconstitued tobacco sheet for balancing 2 h could reflect the moisture adsorption rate of the reconstituted tobacco sheet to some extent. Adding bentonite or talc powder to the reconstitued tobacco sheet was beneficial for reducing its moisture absorption characteristic. The appropriate mass fraction of inorganic fillers was 2.0%, and the tightness (bentonite reconstituted tobacco sheet 0.711 g/cm3, talc powder reconstituted tobacco sheet 0.706 g/cm3), and tensile strength (bentonite reconstituted tobacco sheet 0.492 kN/m, talc powder reconstituted tobacco sheet 0.392 kN/m) of the sheet meet the subsequent processing requirements. From the sensory quality evaluation results, talc powder was ideal filler. |
