| Abstract:The deacidification and reinforcement of paper documents have received widespread attention worldwide. Slowing down the acidification and aging of paper documents, and strengthening the restoration and protection of paper documents, have significant historical and cultural significance for cultural inheritance. This article analyzed the reasons for the aging and damage of paper documents from the aspects of production materials, processes, and storage environment, and elucidated the aging mechanism of paper documents. Then, the article summarized the research progress of deacidification, enhanced repair materials, methods, and equipment at home and abroad, and provided some prospects for the current problems in the field of deacidification repair. |
