Abstract:With the global shortage of freshwater resources becoming more and more significant, the development of efficient seawater desalination technology has become an important way to solve the water shortage. At present, the research on the use of solar energy to achieve photothermal conversion to achieve the purpose of seawater desalination is becoming more and more in-depth. In the study of solar thermal conversion, biomass-based carbon materials, as a kind of heat-absorbing materials, have become the object of extensive research by virtue of a wide range of raw material sources, convenient access, low price, and a series of advantages. This study introducd a variety of seawater desalination technologies, and further summarised the current research status of biomass-based carbon materials in seawater desalination applications at home and abroad in recent years, as well as the current problems and related research progress of biomass-based carbon materials.
