Abstract:Aramid paper is a new type of high-performance paper-based material, which has excellent heat resistance, corrosion resistance, and wear resistance, etc. It is widely used in significant fields such as aerospace, national defense, information technology, energy and environmental protection. This paper reviewed the modification methods, mechanical control technology and principles of aramid paper studied in recent years, analyzed the influence and mechanism of different modification methods on the structure, morphology, and mechanical properties of aramid paper, and summarized the mechanism of aramid paper reinforcement. This paper aimed to provide a reference for optimizing the mechanical properties of aramid paper. In addition, this paper further summarized the application research progress of aramid paper, and discussed the future development trend and challenges of aramid paper.
