Abstract:The technology and detail of pretreatment methods, including acid, alkaline, TEMPO oxidation, enzyme, and DES (deep eutectic solvent), for lignin-containing cellulose nanofibrils (LCNF) preparation were reviewed in this paper. The properties of the fabricated LCNF were also summarized. In addition, the challenge and developing prospect of LCNF were proposed.
