Abstract:As the core equipment of the pulp and paper mill, the alkali recovery boiler (referred to as recovery boiler) was used to burn the black liquor generated in the pulping process, which was the main emission source of acid gas pollutants such as nitrogen oxide (NOx) from the pulp mill. In this project, by analyzing the characteristics and combustion mechanism of black liquor in recovery boiler, the air distribution modes for all levels of air supply in the recovery boiler were optimized and transformed, thereby improving the combustion conditions of the recovery boiler, reducing the original generation of NOx, and ensuring the prerequisites for the standard emission of flue gas pollutants in the recovery boiler, which had significant economic and environmental benefits.
