Abstract:In order to investigate the effect of tobacco powder addition on the coating effect of solid-liquid coupling, this study mainly discussed the effects of tobacco powder addition on coating effect and physical and chemical indexes of reconstituted tobacco through the analysis of tobacco powder properties. The results showed that the addition of tobacco powder led to an increase in density, solid content, and viscosity of the coating solution, and the viscosity increased the fastest, and the dosage affected the coating solution more than the particle size. The addition of tobacco powder caused an increase in tensile strength and a decrease in softness and air permeability of the reconstituted tobacco leaves. The appropriate proportion of added tobacco powder should be less than 9%, and the particle size was about 500 mesh.
