Abstract:In this paper， an overview of the research progress and application of biomass-based adhesives in recent years were provided， and the application potential of different types of biomass-based adhesives was summarized， including protein-based adhesives， polysaccharide-based adhesives， lignin-based adhesives， tannin-based adhesives， and other types of biomass-based adhesives. Finally， focusing on several kinds of biomass-based adhesives， the challenges encountered in application research were discussed， and future development trends were also predicted.
