Abstract:The recent advances in nanocellulose preparation by oxidative strategies were summarized in this paper, including the techniques with the use of 2, 2, 6, 6-Tetramethyl piperioloxyl(TEMPO), NaIO4, ammonium persulfate, Fe2+ and chlorine-contained chemicals. Moreover, the findings on the application of oxidized nanocellulose in aerogels, hydrogel, and membrane materials, etc. were introduced.
