Abstract:This paper reviewed the application research of nanocellulose in drug delivery systems， and introduced the preparation methods of nanocellulose and the factors affecting its performance. The properties of nanocellulose and its mechanism of action in drug loading， drug slow release and targeted drug delivery were described in detail. At the same time， the challenges faced by nanocellulose in the aspects of biosafety， industrial production and scale application were discussed. The future application of nanocellulose was aslo prospected.
