Abstract:In this study, glycerol trioleate (GTO) and trimethylolpropane trioleate (TMPTO) were used as raw materials to prepare water-based release agents respectively, the oxidative stabilities of these two water-based release agents were studied by acid value, peroxide value and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. The results showed that under the same condition, the oxidation degree of GTO water-based release agent was lower than that of TMPTO water-based release agent, the increase of the relative content of volatile components after oxidation was significantly less of GTO water-based release agent (124.5) than that of TMPTO water-based release agent (613.9), and aldehydes (covering 72%~84%) were the most major volatile components. Therefore, the oxidative stability of GTO water-based release agent was better than that of TMPTO water-based release agent. In addition, the quality and oxidative stability of raw materials were the main factors affecting the oxidation degree of water-based release agent.
