Abstract:The “green” deep eutectic solvent (lactic acid/betaine hydrochloride) with different volume fraction of deionized water was used to pretreat eucalyptus and to study the micro and nanofibrillation of lignocellulose in combination with beating and oxidation treatment. The results showed that the DES had the best pretreatment effect when volume fraction of 5% deionized water was added. At this time, the retention rate of cellulose was 62.9%, the removal rates of hemicellulose and lignin were 91.8% and 82.9%, respectively, and the cellulose maintained the type I crystalline structure. After the beating and oxidation treatment, the micro fibrillation of lignocellulose was obvious, and the average length and average width of fiber were shortened by 47.7% and 49.9%, respectively, and the surface charge of fiber was also significantly enhanced, and the maximum absolute value of Zeta potential reached 51.65 mV. |
