Abstract:Based on collision theory， the pulping response was explained in this paper， including collision frequency， orientation or probability factor and energy factor. Firstly， the importance of collision frequency was described， the fine structure of wood was shown to illustrate the pathways and obstacles of cooking liquor penetration， and the precautions for preparing penetrant were explained by the principle of wetting.
