Abstract:The method of head-space solid phase micro-extraction/gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (HS-SPME-GCMS) was used to analyze the odor components of 7 types of tissue paper and the rapid method to determine the odor composition of tissue paper was established. The results showed that the odor components of tissue paper mainly included aldehydes, acids, esters, alcohols, ketones and phenols. A total of 53 volatile components were detected in 7 types of tissue paper, among which acetic acid, phenol, decanol, iso-octanol, octanoic acid, hexanal, acetic acid, butyric acid, pentanoic acid and nonanal were the key components of the odor. In tissue paper, minor dosage of acid substances would lead to the generation of odor, higher dosage of aldehydes, esters and alcohols would generate odor, and the ketones were not the main factors which resulted for generating odor. |
