Abstract:A design scheme with utilization of hot water type lithium bromide absorption water chillers (short for hot water type absorption water chiller design scheme) in a large-scale papermaking mill was introduced. The recovered heat of condensate water from final tank of the steam system for paper machines was able to drive the chillers of air conditioners in electrical and instrument rooms. By comparing with traditional electrical air condition system, non-recurring investment, and annual power consumption of hot water type absorption water chiller design scheme were analyzed and the calculation indicated that investment recovery period was about 2.87 years. This design could be a reference for the low-grade heat utilization of condensate water before returning to public power plant.
